Western Star 4900SA
We’re not sure what the weather’s like in your neck of the woods, but in South Carolina, the heat is cranked up to 100 degrees or so, so we’re going to crank up the heat the Western Star 4900 way!
Let’s introduce you to the“oilpatch” and a piece of equipment that is used for servicing wells called a “hot oiler”. This 4900SA is designed to pump hot fluid down a well or production lines and facilities to dewax (clean). This three-quarter of a million dollar piece of equipment is a heated pressure washer on steroids!
Starting out, this 4900SA 123″ BBC chassis unit has a Detroit DD16 560 HP engine, Eaton 18 speed transmission, 69K tridrive and 20K frt end, and is all attached to a 3/8 DC rail, spread across a 286” wheelbase. They’ve also added a 40” Stratosphere sleeper just in case the operator needs to take power nap. And for the customers own touch, he chromed the grille guard.
Thanks to Grant Cooper from Western Star of Grande Prairie in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, for sharing this bad ass pressure washer!
