Whether you’re looking for a fun evening out with family or a boost in your career, there’s a truck show for you. These family friendly events have something for everyone to enjoy, so get out there and have fun.
If you live in the Pine Tree State, check out the Fryeburg Fair in Fryeburg, Maine. This event runs from Oct. 4-11, and has everything from harness racing to live music in the evening (including Clint Black on October 8!). With games, rides, and an exciting 4×4 pull and truck show, this fair really has something for everyone. Not to mention, there’s a great weather forecast for the fair this year. 2015 ATA Management Conference and Exhibition
This one takes place in the City of Brotherly Love, and it is a sight to behold. It is a conference of trucking executives held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia, and it runs from Oct. 17-20. This event is great for networking and professional development for owner operators and managers. Current trends in trucking will be discussed, and evening entertainment includes truck exhibitions. Sunbelt AG Expo
This huge agricultural trade show held on Oct. 20-22 in Spence Field in Moultrie, GA has over 1,200 exhibitors, including Western Star dealer FTL, STL, & Western Star of Tallahassee of Tallahassee, FL. LCM Southern Classic
Held on October 10 at the LEE HI Trucking Plaza in Lexington, Virginia. This non-judged trucking show is free to spectators and includes a parade of trucks through downtown Lexington. The event also has food, a DJ, and face painting and other fun activities for kids. Participation only costs $25, so it’s also a great show to get involved in. PDI Customer Appreciation Show
The annual Truck Beauty Competition is back in St. George, Utah. The event runs from October 8-10 with a free lunch on Saturday from 11-1 for all attendees. Trophies and cash prizes are awarded to the winning trucks, and admission is totally free. Registration is still open, so don’t miss your chance for this fun family event. The show takes place at PDI headquarters at 687 North Industrial Road. The competition is open to any full-time or part-time working truck—maybe this year you’ll take home that trophy.
