Based out of Mountain Grove, MO, Pathway Transportation provides oversize hauling services in all 48 contiguous states.
Pathway Transportation was started by Peter and Linda in 2007. The previous company where they worked for 3 years decided to sell out, so that’s when they decided to start their own business in a way that would help drivers together with the logistics world.
It is a small company, operating with around 16 trucks. The newest in the fleet are the 2013 and 2015 Western Star 4900EX models.
When asked why Western Stars were chosen for the job, the Neufeld’s stated, “Together with visiting our drivers and trying to come up with a truck that was durable, looked nice, and one that our drivers would be happy living in, we came up with a Star.”
They love the room and comfort the Stars provide for the drivers living in them for months at a time.
In order to keep their rigs in tip-top shape, they suggest, “Go over the essentials – Tires, brake lights, and the servicing of the engine every month. Even a new truck must be serviced every month. With that you will most likely catch that small rip in the tire before it blows.”
“Western Star has treated us extremely well, together with our local dealer, Jenkins Diesel,” they said. “We thank Western Star for providing a sturdy truck that is heavy duty enough to pull oversize loads and also roomy enough inside for the drivers to live in as their second home.”
“We know our drivers like they’re our family, and we value their work, and we acknowledge that without them we could not succeed,” expressed the Neufeld’s.
