Here’s one fine example of a Western Star Truck that’s a small package with a large punch.
This 4900SA 123″ BBC is featuring a 40” Stratosphere sleeper, complete with a full sleeper fairing, bundles nicely within the 198” wheelbase. Powering this badboy, is a 530 HP Detroit DD16 engine, 18-speed transmission, 12K front air ride and 40K rear, all resting on 5/16″ main rail. Additional features on this Western Star include the underhood air cleaner, wrap around front bumper, and cab mounted mirrors – all helping this unit slice the highway air currents.
And did you notice the color scheme? The paint is called New Dark Violet Pearl with Charcoal Gray fuel tanks and chassis.
Thanks to Larry Hess, from Midway Truck Service in Bethel, PA, for sharing this “Oh Mighty” Star!
