We’re here at the Mid-America Trucking Show and thought we’d take a minute to show you what we’ve seen and heard around the Western Star booth. Once again, the folks at Western Star outdid themselves with the design and layout of their booth. This year, they went Hollywood, complete with movie posters, beautiful ushers and the occasional superstar. Stop by and get your popcorn, check out the merchandise and climb on up. The doors are open!
The stars were out in force on Friday including Mr. Randy Travis!
The real stars are the trucks, of course. And boy did they showcase some beauties. We spoke with pretty much everyone on the Western Star team yesterday and have some inside scoop on a few things they have coming down the pike that we’ll share in upcoming posts.
Speaking of beauties, we took lots of pictures of the Western Star girls on Friday. We also have exclusive interviews with all of them which we’ll post over the next few days. Each one has a great story to tell and they all have very impressive credentials.
Stay tuned for more pictures, videos, interviews and stories in the coming days. We’re using a lot of film and meeting some really interesting people. We spoke with one driver out of Perrysburg, Ohio who told us a little story about his friend who has 1,600,000 miles on his Star. We also met a couple who were thrilled to have found a Western Star belt buckle at the merchandise booth to send to their son in Afghanistan. It was the last one they had in inventory.
Keep an eye out for more from MATS. If you’re in the area, it’s not too late to stop by and check out the Stars.
